Getting around

Where every page and setting lives in the Ovatio dashboard.

The dashboard has a sidebar on the left and a header along the top.

  • Channel switcher (top): if you moderate other channels, switch between your own channel ("My channel") and theirs here.
  • Overview > Dashboard: a customisable live view built from docks: Queue, Lyrics, Karaoke, Notes and Chords. On phones it shows a simplified layout.
  • Library > Songs: your song library. Import, export and add songs, tag them, and mark them active or inactive. See Song library.
  • Live > Requests: the live request queue. See Requests and the queue.
  • Live > Request history: songs that were played or removed.
  • Configuration > Settings: your public viewer page, the new song tag, queue limits and per-viewer limits. See Settings.
  • Configuration > Overlays: overlays for OBS. See OBS overlays.
  • Configuration > Bot: connect the Twitch and YouTube chat bots and edit chat commands. See Chat integrations and Chat bot commands.
  • Configuration > Markers: add stream markers automatically when a song starts.
  • Configuration > Mods: add and remove mods for your channel. Only the channel owner sees this page. See Channel mods.
  • Support: chat with the support assistant about anything in Ovatio. If it can't help, it passes the conversation to a person on the Ovatio team, whose replies show up in the same chat. They may ask for a screenshot; you decide whether to take one, and you see it before it's sent. It can also prepare changes for you: adding, removing, tagging and editing songs in your library, and your request settings, limits, new song tag and chat commands. Nothing changes until you click Apply.
  • Theme: switch between light, dark and system.
  • Account menu (your avatar, top right) > Manage account: your connected Twitch and Google accounts. Reconnect an account here when Ovatio asks for extra permissions.
