Getting started
Set up song requests for your stream in about ten minutes.
Ovatio takes song requests from your chat and your own request page, and keeps them in one queue you control. Work through these steps in order. Tick them off as you go; your progress is saved in this browser.
1. Add your songs
Viewers can only request songs in your library. If you already keep a list on StreamerSonglist, export it and import the file; otherwise search Spotify or add songs by hand. See Song library.
2. Set your request limits
Out of the box there are no limits. A good start is to cap the queue and set max requests per song to 1, so the same song can't be queued twice. See Settings.
3. Publish your viewer page
Your viewer page lets viewers browse your library and request with one click. Publish it under Configuration > Settings and put the link in your panels. See Settings.
4. Connect the chat bot
Turn on the Twitch or YouTube bot under Configuration > Bot, and viewers can request with !sr in chat. See Chat integrations and Chat bot commands.
5. Show the queue on stream
Add an overlay to OBS as a Browser source. See OBS overlays.
6. Add your mods
Optional: let your mods run the queue and library for you. See Channel mods.
On stream
Keep Live > Requests or the Dashboard open. The top song is the one playing; mark it played when you're done and the next one moves up. Stuck? Click Support in the dashboard header.
